The Search Committee will be led by Jeb Egbert, Lead Elder, and Robin Riley, interim Executive Pastor. The committee of godly men and women was prayerfully selected and represents the many ministries and backgrounds in our congregation. Jeb and Robin will work closely with the committee members to ensure they have a deep understanding of the vision and values of Mariners and requirements of a future Lead Pastor as they conduct their search.

Josh and Lauren moved back to HB after college, where he currently works as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine. Josh also operates a sports performance training center in Fountain Valley.

Jeb Egbert, Chair
Jeb has spent more than 25 years in youth ministry, most notably directing camp ministry that accommodated up to 1,000 teens in Northern Minnesota. He has been in various ministerial roles since 1988, including serving as pastor to the student body of a residential Christian institution of higher learning.
Jeb earned his MBA from the University of Texas in 1992 and doctorate in Education from Texas A & M in 1995. He has been married to his college sweetheart, Barb Quillen Egbert, for 40 years and has three amazing children: John, James, and Brittany as well as the cutest grandson in the world.

Prior to founding Vanderbloemen Search Group, William studied executive search under a mentor with over 25 years of executive search experience. His learning taught him the very best corporate practices, including the search strategies used by the internationally known firm Russell Reynolds. William also has experience as a Manager in Human Resources in a Fortune 200 company, where he focused on integration of corporate culture and succession planning. All of these experiences have come together with his pastoral work to form a unique gift for helping churches and ministries connect with the right key people.
